Here at the Sam Tibbits State Farm office, we are passionate about helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most, especially during times when they need support the most. Whether it’s covering the vehicle you rely on every day with Auto Insurance, protecting the place you call home with Homeowners Insurance, or helping you prepare for the future with Life Insurance, we help you find insurance options that fit real‐life needs. Spring is here, which means it’s time to pull out the ATVs, boats, campers, and other warm‐weather toys. Before hitting the road or water, it’s a great time to check in on your insurance to make sure everything is covered and ready for the season.

Our office is conveniently located on Rum River Drive in Princeton, MN, right behind the State Farm sign. We proudly serve Princeton, Milaca, Zimmerman, Onamia, Elk River, Becker, Pease, Dalbo, and many other surrounding Minnesota communities.

I grew up in Litchfield, MN, where my dad, Jason, was, and still is, a State Farm agent. Watching him build relationships and genuinely enjoy helping people is where my interest in insurance and small business ownership first took root. I later attended St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN, where I earned a business degree and met my wife, Emma. Although I always envisioned a future with State Farm, I wanted to explore a different path first. After graduating, I joined Graybar Electric in Minneapolis as an industrial representative. Working for a large corporation confirmed what I already felt, my heart was in small business, where personal connections, accountability, and community truly matter. Growing up and building my life in Minnesota has given me a strong understanding of the concerns my fellow Minnesotans face.

From helping renters get established with Renters Insurance, to assisting condo owners with Condo Insurance, to supporting individuals and families with Health Insurance, I take pride in being a local agent who understands the area and the people who live here. Our customers are truly the heart of what we do, and being a local agent allows me to stay closely connected to the communities I serve. My Princeton, MN insurance team is ready to help! Give us a call, send an email, or stop by the office to start a conversation about your insurance needs!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What's an effective way to get car insurance quotes?

A: Getting car insurance quotes is simple—you can start online, over the phone, or by working with a local agent. Quotes are typically based on factors like your vehicle, driving history, and coverage preferences, helping you explore options that fit your needs. Have questions? Sam in Princeton can walk you through your options.

Q: How soon can I get insured for my car?

A: Car insurance coverage can often start the same day, depending on your situation. Sam works with Princeton residents to find coverage that fits.

Q: What are the insurance requirements on a leased car?

A: If you're leasing a vehicle, the requirements are usually a bit higher than standard coverage. In most cases, you'll need liability, comprehensive, and collision coverage, and the leasing company may need to be listed on your policy. We're always happy to walk you through exactly what's needed. Sam serves Princeton, MN and is happy to help with your insurance needs.

Q: Do you have to have home insurance?

A: Homeowners insurance requirements may vary by your state and situation. If you have home financing, your lender will likely require coverage, and many homeowners choose it for added protection. Connect with Sam for insurance guidance in Princeton.

Q: What is life insurance?

A: Life insurance is designed to help provide financial support to your loved ones if something happens to you. It can help cover expenses like daily living costs, debts, or future needs, depending on the type of policy and coverage you choose. In Princeton, you can count on Sam for personalized service.

Q: What exactly is renters insurance and how does it work?

A: Renters insurance is a policy designed to help protect your personal belongings and provide liability coverage while you're renting a home or apartment. It focuses on your possessions and potential risks, rather than the building itself, which is typically covered by your landlord's policy. Sam is here to help your Princeton household feel covered.
